It appreciates innovation in fashion, which focuses on creating an innovative product, understanding that this industry is justly an innovative sector in which diverse science, technologies, art and tradition have been combined, and used to solve the needs of sustainable livelihood, employment and entrepreneurship. In doing so, SugraCreates categorise fashion product innovation into three ranges—Textile production, fashion accessories, and sewing—with aims to present the wider space of innovation in the global fashion industry with the optimism that other continent can learn from African indigenous products developments and be inspired.
